Bunnie Ralph Cobb was born to the late Shirley Glover-Cobb and Bunnie Ralph Cobb, Sr. on February 15, 1960 in Stamford, CT. He departed this life peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2018.

He was a graduate at Rippowam High School, where he excelled in football. After graduation he moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and attended Shaw University. After college, Bunnie then found a wonderful career at Federal Express for 30 years before retiring in 2017.

Bunnie was baptized at an early age at Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Stamford, CT under the leadership of Rev. Samuel L. White and later joined the Greater Faith Baptist Church under Rev. Brown.

Bunnie was a family oriented man and his motto was “family first”. He enjoyed boating, fishing, vacations, cookouts, and especially fish fry’s. Bunnie’s peaceful moments to think and to reflect on his family and blessings was when he was in his garden planting vegetables and having some “me” time. He spent quality time with his only precious granddaughter, Khloe, his “little angel”.

Bunnie was preceded in death by his parents, Bunnie Ralph Cobb and Shirley Mae Glover-Cobb. His high school sweetheart (who later became his wife), Shirley Denise Newton-Cobb and lastly, his brother Robert Lee Cobb.

He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Shanna S. Cobb and one granddaughter, Khloe Taylor both of Stamford CT. Three sisters: Sharon Cobb-Jerrell of Richmond, VA; Bonita Cobb of Hartford, CT; and Cynitha Wilson of Orlando, FL. Four brother’s: Randolph “Wolf ” Cobb of Bridgeport, CT; Anthony Cobb of Manchester, CT; Jeff Wilson of White Plains, NY; & Elder Edward “Tyrone” McClain of Memphis, TN. Two goddaughters, Roshawn Powell and Yveisha Owens of Stamford, CT. Mother-in-Law Lenora Newton of Stamford, CT. Two Sister-in-Laws, Shelia Newton and Sandy Shelly both of Stamford CT. One Brother-in-Law, Billy Newton and Dolida Bullock “Bunnie’s companion“ of Stamford, CT. He leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He will truly be missed by all who knew him. May God grant peace, love and comfort to all on this day of Bunnie’s homegoing service.
