Obituary for Dorothy Mae Williams

Dorothy M. Williams, 70 of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Friday, February 3, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Hartsville, SC to the late Howard Dock and Patsy Berry Williams, Dorothy has been a resident of Bridgeport for the past fifty-two years. She was formerly a presser at the Shelton Laundry. Dorothy was a disciple of West End Tabernacle C.M.E. Church. In addition to her parents two brothers, Charlie Hall and Dock Howard Williams, Jr. and two sisters, Annie Mae and Rena Mae Hall predeceased her. She leaves to cherish her memory her companion of forty-five years Samuel L. Johnson, Jr.; a son, Samuel L. Johnson, III and a brother, David Hall all of Bridgeport; two sisters, Pastor Annie Mae (Bishop Robert) Robinson and Mamie Lee
(Henry) Reed of SC; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Interment will take place Thursday 10:00 AM at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport, CT.
