Obituary for Lucille E Bish

Lucille E. Bish, "Little Lucille" "Pat", 69, of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Fairfield, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport to the late George W. and Lucille E. White Bish, Lucille has been a life-long resident of this city. She was educated in the Bridgeport Public School System and graduated from Warren Harding High School in the class of 1966. Lucille was a retired social worker for the City of Bridgeport where she served for twenty-eight years. She was a disciple of the First Baptist Church of Stratford where she served on the Progressive Ministry. Outside of the church, she was a volunteer for the Democratic Party, Swim Across the Sound, the Women's Auxiliary of the Colonel Charles Young American Legion Post #140, the East End Reunion Committee, the North End Community Garden, the Grandparent Program for the City of Bridgeport public school system. She leaves to cherish her memory a brother, George W. Bish, Jr., of Bridgeport; two sisters, Imogene McRae of Bridgeport and Deborah Lyons of New Haven; two aunts, Modicue Stanton of Norwalk and Barbara Clemons of Bridgeport; three nephews, Scott J. Bish of MA, Romain and Kevin Lyons of New Haven; one niece, Shawn Edwards of West Haven; other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer special thanks to the staff of the Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fairfield.
