Obituary for Sheila A McCullough

Sheila A. McCullough, 56 of Stratford, entered eternal rest Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the comfort of her home. Born in Hartsville, SC to Willie J. MCCullough and the late Shirlean Mack McCullough, Sheila has been a resident of Stratford for the past ten years and prior to that she was a resident of Bridgeport forty-one years. She was a graduate of Harding High School. Sheila attended the University of CT for three years and was first employed as a substitute teacher in the Bridgeport public school system. Sheila went on to become a Bridgeport Police officer with twenty-five years of service and retired as a Sergeant. Sheila was one of the founding members of the Bridgeport Guardians. She was a disciple of East End Baptist Tabernacle Church. In addition to her mother a daughter, Justice McCullough and sister, Ruth Brown predeceased her. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Willie J. McCullough; 4 brothers, Wilbert Contino, Cornelius and Kenyon McCullough all of Bridgeport; 4 sisters, Rachel McCullough-Smith (Timothy) of West Haven; Peggy Anne Isaac and Diana Williamson both of SC; Sandrett Justice of AL; several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends. Interment is private.
