Name: Yvette D Stevens Dates: Birth date: April 23, 1966 Death date: May 1, 2012 Obituary: STEVENS – Yvette D. Stevens, age 46, of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport. Yvette was a member of Messiah Baptist Church and a member of the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation. She was predeceased by her father. Yvette leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Gloria Reovan Harrison of NC; one brother, Tyrone Stevens of Bridgeport, five sisters, Viola Muhammad, Laverne Stevens, Henrietta Samuel all of Bridgeport; Cernetta Turnage of New Haven; Nikida Stevens of NY; a special friend Venus Hoheb and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Visitation: Friends are invited to the viewing Monday from 9-11 AM at the church. Service: Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress Street, Bridgeport, CT with Reverend Wesley Dullivan, officiating. Cemetery: Interment will take place at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton, CT following the service. |
