Obituary for Robin Lea Shook

Robin Lea Shook was called home by her Heavenly Father on the afternoon of Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital with her eldest son’s father Ewart “Scotty” Wilson, her sister, nieces and nephew by her side.

She was born June 26, 1956, in Newburgh, NY to the late Robert Leroy Jackson and Shirley Ann Plant. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Jackson, Jr.

Our beloved was a kind and gentle being who always had a genuine concern for others. Her beautiful life and her strength were an inspiration to all who knew her. She was baptized at Grace Missionary Baptist church of Marshall, North Carolina on May 9, 2010.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Wilson (Myra) and Aaron Davis, 4 grandchildren, Myshala, Mariah, Markus Wilson and Jasmyn DiPietro, a sister, Deborah George, nephew, Jamie Hallak (Donna), nieces, Krystle and Heather George and several great nieces and nephews.
Robin had spent many years in Connecticut surrounded by the lover of her family as well as many years living in North Carolina. Robin had a large heart for all whom she encountered. She enjoyed country music, fishing and had fondness for animals especially her canine companion Foxy Girl.

“I shall pass through this world but once.
Any good therefore that I can do or any kindness
That I can show to any human being, let me do it now.
Let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
- Stephen Grellet
