Obituary for Elaine Craig

Elaine Craig, 80 of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Saturday, November 25, 2017 in the Hospice Unit of Milford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kewanee, IL to the late Osborn and Ruth Peoples Patterson, Elaine has been a resident of Bridgeport for the past sixty-two years. She was a retired receptionist with over twenty years of service at Bridgeport Mental Health. She was an avid reader, loved to attend Mt. Aery Baptist Noon Day Bible Study; she also loved music, cooking, crocheting, and sewing. Elaine was a former disciple of First Baptist Church of Stratford where she served as a Deaconess. She was a current disciple of Mt Aery Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Tracey (Julian) JeanBaptiste; two granddaughters, Traci-Nicole Craig and Jazmin JeanBaptiste all of Bridgeport; two great grandchildren, Assan Glenn and Truejoy Gantt, a nephew, Raymond Bruce; nieces, Debra Drye-Holbrooks and Cathy Drye and a devoted care-giver, Leola Jones.
