Obituary for Cora Cox-Collins

Cora Cox-Collins of New Haven, CT went to be with the Lord on March 13th 2018, by her side were her husband and son Ross and Cory Collins. She was born and raised in Bridgeport, CT to the late Rodock and Emily Cox on May 5th, 1949.

Cora attended St. Ann’s school, Bassick High School, and earned her degree in social work from Texas Southern University.

Cora loved her work with the youth of today and spent time with organizations such as Girl Scouts of America as an executive, ABCD of Bridgeport, New Haven YES, Department of Children and Families coupled with the joy of her inter-action of the numerous members of family and friends.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, Rodock and Emily Cox, as well as her brother Rodock Cox Jr.

She leaves her love with son Ross and Cory Collins, her siblings Gloria Cox-Vereen, Diane Williams, Pamela Cox, David Cox, Stephen Cox, James Cox, Tyrone Cox, Silas Cox, Craig Kelly, Joseph Brady, and a host of nieces and nephews.
